When receiving Montana SNAP benefits you are given a Montana EBT Card. Each month your EBT card is refilled through the Electronic Benefits Transfer system with the amount you were approved for when you applied for Montana food stamps. It is important to know when your card gets refilled each month, so that you can better plan your food stamp purchases at stores that are authorized SNAP retailers. To find out when you will receive your next SNAP payment, look at the Montana food stamp payment dates below.
Benefits are made available over a 5 day period at 12:01AM beginning with the second calendar day of every month, based on the last digit of the SNAP eligibility system (TEAMS) case number.
Case Number Ends With | Benefits Available |
---|---|
0-1 | 2nd of the month |
2-3 | 3rd of the month |
4-5 | 4th of the month |
6-7 | 5th of the month |
8-9 | 6th of the month |
If you believe you do not receive your Montana EBT payment this month and it is past the payment date listed above, then you would need to contact the Montana Human & Community Services Division, who head up the SNAP program. You can try the phone number on the back of your EBT card, or you can get the contact information on the Montana EBT card balance page.
