Maryland SNAP Payment Schedule

When receiving Maryland SNAP benefits you are given a Maryland Independence Card. Each month your EBT card is refilled through the Electronic Benefits Transfer system with the amount you were approved for when you applied for Maryland food stamps. It is important to know when your card gets refilled each month, so that you can better plan your food stamp purchases at stores that are authorized SNAP retailers. Benefits are made available from the 6th to the 15th of every month, based on the first letter of the recipient’s last name.

Didn't Receive My Maryland SNAP Payment

If you believe you do not receive your Maryland EBT payment this month and it is past the payment date listed above, then you would need to contact the Maryland Department of Human Resources, who head up the SNAP program.
