When receiving Texas SNAP benefits you are given a Texas Lone Star Card. Each month your EBT card is refilled through the Electronic Benefits Transfer system with the amount you were approved for when you applied for Texas food stamps. It is important to know when your card gets refilled each month, so that you can better plan your food stamp purchases at stores that are authorized SNAP retailers. To find out when you will receive your next SNAP payment, look at the Texas food stamp payment dates below.
Benefits are made available over 15 days, beginning on the 1st and based on the last digit in the Eligibility Determination Group (EDG) number.

If you believe you do not receive your Texas EBT payment this month and it is past the payment date listed above, then you would need to contact the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, who head up the SNAP program. You can try the phone number on the back of your EBT card, or you can get the contact information on the Texas EBT card balance page.
