When receiving Pennsylvania SNAP benefits you are given a Pennsylvania Access Card. Each month your EBT card is refilled through the Electronic Benefits Transfer system with the amount you were approved for when you applied for Pennsylvania food stamps. It is important to know when your card gets refilled each month, so that you can better plan your food stamp purchases at stores that are authorized SNAP retailers. To find out when you will receive your next SNAP payment, look at the Pennsylvania food stamp payment dates below.
Benefits are made available over the first 10 business days of every month, based on the last digit of the client’s case number.
|Case Number Ends With||Benefits Available|
|1||1st of the month|
|2||2nd of the month|
|3||3rd of the month|
|4||4th of the month|
|5||5th of the month|
|6||6th of the month|
|7||7th of the month|
|8||8th of the month|
|9||9th of the month|

|Cash benefits are made available to each recipient twice during every month, where half a recipient’s benefit is issued during the first 10 business days of every month and the second half of the recipient’s benefit is issued the following 10 business|
If you believe you do not receive your Pennsylvania EBT payment this month and it is past the payment date listed above, then you would need to contact the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, who head up the SNAP program. You can try the phone number on the back of your EBT card, or you can get the contact information on the Pennsylvania EBT card balance page.
