When receiving Maine SNAP benefits you are given a Maine Pine Tree Card. Each month your EBT card is refilled through the Electronic Benefits Transfer system with the amount you were approved for when you applied for Maine food stamps. It is important to know when your card gets refilled each month, so that you can better plan your food stamp purchases at stores that are authorized SNAP retailers. To find out when you will receive your next SNAP payment, look at the Maine food stamp payment dates below.
Benefits are made available from the 10th to the 14th of every month, based on the last digit of the recipient's birth day.
|Birthday Ends With||Benefits Available|
|0-9||10th of the month|
|1-8||11th of the month|
|2-3||12th of the month|
|4-7||13th of the month|
|5-6||14th of the month|
|For example if you were born on the 10th, 20th, or 30th of a month, you would receive benefits on the 10th of the month. If you were born on the 1st, 11th, 21st, or 31st of a month, you would receive benefits on the 11th of the month|
If you believe you do not receive your Maine EBT payment this month and it is past the payment date listed above, then you would need to contact the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, who head up the SNAP program. You can try the phone number on the back of your EBT card, or you can get the contact information on the Maine EBT card balance page.
