When receiving Missouri SNAP benefits you are given a Missouri EBT Card. Each month your EBT card is refilled through the Electronic Benefits Transfer system with the amount you were approved for when you applied for Missouri food stamps. It is important to know when your card gets refilled each month, so that you can better plan your food stamp purchases at stores that are authorized SNAP retailers. To find out when you will receive your next SNAP payment, look at the Missouri food stamp payment dates below.
Benefits are made available over the first 22 days of every month, based on the client’s birth month and last name.
Birth Month | Benefits Available |
---|---|
Jan/Feb or March | 1st of the month |
April/May or June | 2nd of the month |
July/Aug or Sept | 3rd of the month |
Oct/Nov or Dec | 4th of the month |
TANF benefits are made available over the first 4 days of every month, based on the client’s birth month only |
If you believe you do not receive your Missouri EBT payment this month and it is past the payment date listed above, then you would need to contact the Missouri Department of Social Services, who head up the SNAP program. You can try the phone number on the back of your EBT card, or you can get the contact information on the Missouri EBT card balance page.
