When receiving Louisiana SNAP benefits you are given a Louisiana Purchase Card. Each month your EBT card is refilled through the Electronic Benefits Transfer system with the amount you were approved for when you applied for Louisiana food stamps. It is important to know when your card gets refilled each month, so that you can better plan your food stamp purchases at stores that are authorized SNAP retailers. To find out when you will receive your next SNAP payment, look at the Louisiana food stamp payment dates below.
Benefits are made available between the 5th and the 14th of every month, based on the last digit of the client's Social Security Number.
|SSN Ends With||Benefits Available|
|0||5th of the month|

|3||8th of the month|
|4||9th of the month|
|5||10th of the month|
|6||11th of the month|

If you believe you do not receive your Louisiana EBT payment this month and it is past the payment date listed above, then you would need to contact the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services, who head up the SNAP program. You can try the phone number on the back of your EBT card, or you can get the contact information on the Louisiana EBT card balance page.
