The Cataract General Store SNAP retailer accepts EBT cards located in IN. This store is authorized to accept Indiana food stamps by the United States Department of Agriculture. If you decide to shop at Cataract General Store, you would first choose your groceries and go to the checkout lane. You would then need to tell the clerk which benefits you want to use, either food stamps or cash. Then, swipe your Indiana Hoosier Works card through their point of sale terminal (debit machine), and then hand your card to the clerk. The next step requires you to enter your four digit pin number on the point of sale terminal, then press enter. The clerk will then enter the amount of your food stamp purchase, if the amount is correct, then press the OK or Yes button. You will get a copy of a printed receipt for the transaction, which shows the store name, address, amount of your purchase and your new food stamp balance.
