California SNAP Payment Schedule

When receiving California SNAP benefits you are given a California Golden State Advantage Card. Each month your EBT card is refilled through the Electronic Benefits Transfer system with the amount you were approved for when you applied for California food stamps. It is important to know when your card gets refilled each month, so that you can better plan your food stamp purchases at stores that are authorized SNAP retailers. Benefits are made available over the first 10 days of every month, based on the last digit of the client’s case number.

Didn't Receive My California SNAP Payment

If you believe you do not receive your California EBT payment this month and it is past the payment date listed above, then you would need to contact the California Department of Social Services, who head up the SNAP program. You can try the phone number on the back of your EBT card, or you can get the contact information on the California EBT card balance page.
